After graduating from Birmingham University, Donovan Brown continued his studies at Cambridge University, and was privileged to gain a scholarship to study organ at Sienna under the renowned Fernando Germani, organist at St Peter’s in Rome. He became Accompanist and assistant Chorus Master to Worthing Municipal Choir (as it was then known) when he moved to Sussex in 1970. Donovan has been Choral Director of Worthing Philharmonic Choir since 1996, conducting a wide variety of Choral repertoire. He has given numerous organ recitals locally and continues to enjoy opportunities to accompany singers especially in the south.
