The Concert is free of charge and the Programme includes music as diverse as Bach/Gounod's Ave Maria, Danny Boy, an Eriskay Love Lilt, theme from 'The Vicar of Dibley' and Victoria's O quam gloriosum as well as two organ solos.

Vanesse Woodfine VANESSA WOODFINE - Soprano was born in Wrexham and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music winning the Elizabeth Harwood memorial prize and a Peter Moores major scholarship. She has also received awards from the Towyn Roberts National Eisteddfod, the Countess of Munster and the Musicians Benevolent Fund.

Concert work includes The Creation (Bridgewater Hall for BBC TV); English Music Company (St John's, Smith Square); The Young Welsh Singer (St David's Hall, Cardiff).

Vanessa joined the Glyndebourne Chorus in 1997 and made her Glyndebourne debut in 2002 singing Tatyana in Yevgeny Onyegin. Other roles include Angel The Maid of Orleans and Sara Roberto Devereux (Royal Northern College of Music); High Priestess Aida (Raymond Gubbay: Royal Albert Hall) and Mimi La Bohème (Jonathan Miller's Opera Works BBC 2).

Future plans include Messiah with the English Music Company (Brighton); and Karolka in Jenufa this summer with Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
